Satura — the third studio album by Swiss gothic metal band Lacrimosa.
Satura (lat.) – satire, a species of poetry, originally dramatic, peculiar to the Romans.
Pronunciation: /ˈsa.tu.ra/
The album was recorded in Basel at Fort Vox Tonstudio and released by Hall of Sermon in 1993. In the same year the very first tour of the band started in Leipzig to support the album.
Satura appears to be the first record of Lacrimosa with gothic rock features, but still all in all it is a darkwave album.
